What successful fruit production means for our region.
How did we come about? In the 1950's it was suggested that an association be formed to represent the fruit growers of Cobram. From the day of the first meeting there were subjects of discussion that have continued for the last 60 years; canneries, market prices, quality, fruit size, incentives (and disincentives!), quotas, varieties and no doubt discussion around these issues will continue for the next 60 years.
"The group has sought information, consulted with growers and implemented positive solutions where required. This is testament to the dedication of our group and our office bearers."
